After Six Days (1922): Touted at the time as a “$3,000,000 Entertainment for the Hundred Millions,” this 1920 Old Testament spectacle delivered what it promised…”from the creation of Adam and Eve to the parting of the Red Sea.”

Yesterday and Today:   Veteran funnyman George Jessel is our host and narrator for this light-hearted look-back at the early and often humorously primitive days of motion pictures circa pre-1910. The majority of film sequences benefit from not having much exposure, if any, since their original release, and most are featured in longer excerpts unlike the usual compilations of this type.

The hilarious true story of Hollywood’s underbelly…the exploitation films, as told in rare film clips and interviews with the original purveyors of passion!  It’s all about the wages of sin and the folks who earned them! With footage from these naughty classics: “Forbidden Daughters,” “They Wear No Clothes!,” “Reefer Madness,” “Child Bride,” plus “Mom and Dad” and more.

John Ford’s “December 7th” was banned by the U.S. Government for nearly fifty years.  This special edition features the fully restored 84-minute version set in Honolulu on the day before the Japanese attack.  Uncle Sam (Walter Huston) vacations complacently in Hawaii, concerned with the on-going war in Europe.  On Sunday morning, December 7th, air squadrons appear, “swooping down like flights of tiny locust”.

Special Features include commentaries with four Pearl Harbor, the general release 34 minute version, Frank Capra’s “Know Your Enemy Japan,” and much more.

The Cowboy

This colorful and exciting 1954 film vividly portrays the life of the real working cowboy, a life that has virtually vanished since this motion picture was made by Elmo Williams, Oscar-winning film editor of “High Noon.” The cowboy’s work is hard, hot and dusty, but it is not without drama and times of humor. Filmed on location in the Southwest, this unique document captures a profession and a place in time that has almost disappeared.
