SHADOW MAN (Street of Shadows) – The ex-girlfriend of a London pinball joint (Cesar Romero) is found stabbed to death in his quarters, so naturally the bobbies come looking for Romero. His luck gets worse when he turns for help to a crippled employee–the man who committed the crime! “The suspense element is well established by the direction and the mood.”—Variety. 1953|76 min.|B&W|1.33:NR
SHOOT TO KILL – The film opens with the crash of a police-pursued automobile in which the newly-elected district attorney, Lawrence Dale (Edmund MacDonald), gangster Dixie Logan (Robert Kent as Douglas Blakeley) are found dead, and Dale’s wife Marian (Luana Walters as Susan Walters) is critically injured. But the flashback reveals that Marian is actually the wife of Logan and that her marriage to Dale is strictly platonic. And then it gets very complicated. Notable as the return to the screen of Luana Walters (billed as Susan Walters) and Robert Kent now appearing under his new screen name of Douglas Blakely. 1947|63 min.|B&W|1.33:1|NR
